Is Cyclone Arnab coming to Khammam, Nalgonda or Suryapet?
The storm itself is moving into south Odisha, not Telangana. But IMD has warned of heavy to very heavy rain and gusts up to 70 km/h today in Khammam, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Nalgonda and Suryapet. Avoid streams and low causeways.
Is the cyclone coming to Hyderabad?
No. Hyderabad has no cyclone alert. Expect clouds, light to moderate rain and gusty winds. The heavy-rain alert is for Khammam, Kothagudem, Mulugu and Mahabubabad.
Is the danger over on the coast?
The strongest winds are over: the storm is on land and weakening. Flash floods and fallen lines are still a risk today. Stay indoors until officials say it's safe.
Are schools closed?
